HIV TESTING

R&R Holistic Laboratory and Diagnostic Center also offers HIV testing either as part of the medical package or personal request.  Either way, patients can be assured of the confidentiality and professionalism of the test procedure from pre-counseling, analysis and post-counseling handled by trained personnel.  We use qualitative HIV Antibody testing kits that are highly sensitive and accurate for better test performance and reliability.

SCREENING DRUG TEST

In compliance to the DOH’s standards, R&R Holistic Laboratory and Diagnostic Center performs screening drug test with the use of high sensitivity and high accuracy drug testing kits for an accurate and reliable result. We perform qualitative testing of the most commonly used illegal drugs which are Methamphetamine (SHABU) and Tetrahydrocannabinol (Marijuana).

PE-EMPLOYMENT

The overall health status of a person especially those seeking new employment or those for Pre-employment is very vital since it determines if a person is FIT TO WORK. R&R Holistic Laboratory and Diagnostic Center is known for having a ONE STOP SHOP for Pre-Employment Medical requirements. We have varied medical pre-employment packages that are suitable and feasible to any Human Resource or employer’s requirements.  We offer basic to complete pre-employment medical services which include laboratory tests such as CBC, Blood Chemistry, Blood typing, Hepatitis-B, Hepatitis-A, HIV, Syphilis, Pregnancy test in blood or urine sample, Urinalysis and Fecalysis. The qualitative screening test for the drug of abuse (Shabu and Marijuana) is also available. Chest X-Ray of the heart and lungs for detection of any possible pulmonary abnormalities and the like is also available. Also, the Physical Examination conducted by our trained and licensed physician gives final judgment if the employee is fit for employment. Our physicians evaluate the overall health of the patient with the support of clinical and laboratory findings.

The newly acquired 200mA Diagnostic X-Ray Machine of R&R Holistic Laboratory and Diagnostic Center allows us to perform all routine and special procedures in the Radiology section.  It provides a clearer view of the most common respiratory diseases like Pulmonary Tuberculosis, Pneumonia, Dextrocardia, Pulmonary hyper aeration and detection of pulmonary nodules, enlargement of the heart (cardiomegaly), retention and accumulation of fluids to lungs (pleural effusion) which causes emphysema or any other breathing difficulty related conditions. X-Ray also helps in screening for the diagnosis of dextro-scoliosis of the thoracic spine, fracture and dislocation of bones of human extremities. Special x-ray procedures are also available upon request.

R&R Holistic Laboratory and Diagnostic Center is capable of conducting on-site medical examination within the company’s premises without interrupting business operations because we understand the value of time especially those in manufacturing and production industries. It will be beneficial for a company to save time, effort and money if Annual Medical and Physical Examination is done on-site.  They can expect the same values and results as that of a regular testing facility as we follow strict protocols and observe precautionary measures starting from pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical stage of every procedure. The analysis of mobile samples can be done on-site or at RRHLDC depending on the discretion of the company. Regardless of the preferred testing area, RRHLDC functions in the most reliable, accurate and precise manner.

All samples are transported for analysis with an utmost care to maintain its integrity necessary for yielding reliable results.

ELECTROCARDIOGRAM

The basic and most common test to measure the electrical activity of the heart is by the use of ECG Machine. RRHLDC has a 12 Lead ECG analyzer that can detect cardiac activities and abnormalities of the patient. The 10-minutes painless procedure is always available in our Clinic and the result is interpreted by our IM doctor.  This procedure is also available when requested in a mobile clinic service.
